Maureen Crofts

Maureen tries to capture light, atmosphere and movement in her work and colour is very important to her. The subject of the painting determines which colours to use and she often limits those colours to no more than three.

Maureen likes to experiment and paints numerous subjects dependant upon her mood.Her paintings will make a wonderful focal point in any room. She has held several exhibitions and has raised over £5000 for various charities. Her paintings hang worldwide and national companies have produced them as greetings cards.

At the moment she is writing children's books which she hopes to illustrate herself. She is a member of the Birmingham Watercolour Society, TWASI, MIWAS  and the Association of Animal Artists.
