Monet, Claude also known as Oscar Claude Monet (14 November 1840 to 5 December 1926) was a founder of French impressionist painting, and the most consistent and prolific practitioner of the movement's philosophy of expressing one's perceptions before nature, especially as applied to plein-air landscape painting.

Van Gogh - Vincent
Vincent Willem van Gogh (30 March 1853 to 29 July 1890) was a Dutch Post-Impressionist painter whose work had a far-reaching influence on 20th century art for its vivid colors and emotional impact. He suffered from anxiety and increasingly frequent bouts of mental illness throughout his life, and died largely unknown, at the age of 37, from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Maureen Crofts
Maureen is self-taught and has developed her own style of painting since moving to Cornwall, where the light has inspired her. She tries to get luminosity and atmosphere in her watercolours . Her acrylics and oils are mostly painted with palette knives.
